Following is a sampling of the antique images copied with permission from the collections of Havelock citizens in 1987. Some of the photos date back to the late 1800's when photography was in its infancy. The snapshots reveal the hardships of rural Quebec life, the things people took pride in, and the importance of family and neighbours working together to build their community. |
